Georgia on my mind

Here is a wonderful little video of Georgia O’Keefe’s work.

I came to really appreciate her paintings about six years ago when visiting the Heard Museum in Phoenix.

Thirty is never enough, so here are three more of her paintings that are among my favorites:

  2. My wife and I visited her house/ranch near Taos, NM some years ago. Some of her work is displayed there. Great views from the house, too.
    When young, she was the girlfriend of the famous photographer Steiglitz. She broke up with him when he exhibited nude photos of her without her prior permission. O’Keefe moved on to prove she wasn’t only beautiful!
